On Wednesday, June 3, Executive Director john a. powell gave the keynote speech at Rise Together's "Power to Prosperity: The Power of 9" Conference. As an organization whose mission is to cut poverty in half by 2020, john's keynote focused on the othering and belonging framework in relation to the changing narrative around poverty and health in the Bay Area for an audience of 200 community members of northern California.
