Mohammed Naeem

Mohammed Naeem is a Deputy-Director (of Strategy and Partnerships) at the American Immigration Council — where he leads program portfolios on the Center for Inclusion and Belonging (CIB) team. Previously, he worked at More in Common, a multinational research organization. He holds several advisory and board positions, including for the Ad Council, Urban Institute, Refugee Council USA, UNHCR, and the United States Refugee Advisory Board. Mohammed is an alumna of Stony Brook University, and lives in Queens, NY — “The World’s Borough.”

Our movements for liberation cannot be successful without addressing migration, and the question of borders. This interactive workshop invites leaders from diverse fields (social justice, democracy, climate, culture and narrative strategy, development, philanthropy, and more) to consider what might be possible if we take a more integrated and global approach to the question of migration: can we see our movements for liberation as united in advancing an expansive vision of belonging?
