On March 20, 2018 Haas Institute Director john a. powell gave a keynote address at the National Interagency Community Reinvestment Conference in Miami. The address discussed Federal Reserve data confirming that wealth and income inequality in the U.S. is accelerating. powell also talked about how to expand the circle of human concern through targeted universalism, and focused on steps we can take to build informed and inclusive approaches to tackling economic and housing inequality.
