David Card


David Card is the Class of 1950 Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and Director of the Labor Studies Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research interests include immigration, wages, education, and health insurance.

Beth Piatote


Beth Piatote's current book project, building on her recent monograph Domestic Subjects: Gender, Citizenship and Law in Native American Literature (Yale 2013), explores the ways in which Native American writers have drawn upon sensory representations such as sound and synesthesia to produce a distinct legal imaginary that contests settler-colonial incursion and affirms indigenous politics and aesthetics.
