Zoe Cassady is a UC Berkeley undergraduate student studying Molecular Environmental Biology with a concentration in Environmental and Human Health. Broadly, she is interested in environmental policy research aimed to mitigate climate change, particularly greenhouse gas emissions. She aims to foster a greater knowledge of human impacts on the environment by doing research within the Environmental Science, Policy and Management department and interning with a federal environmental advocacy group in D.C. She hopes to work in South America for conservationist organizations post-graduation before pursuing environmental law. Zoe is part of the administrative team at the Haas Institute and hopes to continue expanding her understanding of social and economic inequity by interacting with the ongoing projects of the Institute.
