Winne Luo is a sophomore double majoring in Public Health and Statistics at UC Berkeley. She has interests in health disparities and disease in populations, and the place-based, socioeconomic, and political determinants of health. Previously, Winne has worked with the Office of Equity and Inclusion to analyze diversity in high school admissions to UC Berkeley. She hopes to use insights derived from data to further health equity and social justice. As a summer fellow, Winne will be working within the Equity Metrics program to assess inequality measurements and conduct spatial analysis on opportunity barriers.
