Lauren Ahn is an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley studying Environmental Science. She is currently a scholar of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund and works to debunk the model minority myth. She immigrated to the United States from Seoul, South Korea and lived in Los Angeles before moving to Berkeley for school. Her interests include but are not limited to: being an amateur photographer, consuming content by Vox, advocating for various social causes, spending time with her twin brother who also attends U.C. Berkeley, and impulsively traveling. She aspires towards many goals but hopes her future consists of educating youth and caring for abused and/or neglected animals, specifically shelter dogs.
