On Saturday, August 31, 2013, Haas Institute Director john a. powell presented at Union Theological Seminary in New York City on corporate misalignment. Addressing an audience of scholars, theologians, and activists working around the intersection of immigration and incarceration, john's presentation discussed the rise of corporate power and its detrimental effects and consequences for social relations and for the future of democracy.
